If you are looking for a delicious and comfortable environment with an American meal filled with endless comfort food, you will find the satisfaction at a Black Bear Diner. In our midst of traveling this summer, we visited one out of the 63 franchise locations. The ambience of the restaurant is a cabin feel in the woods, but not necessarily up on the mountain tops overlooking a scenic view. However, the view of my food and the dishes we ordered were beyond satisfying with great portions for the price.
Their menu display was a fun and creative presentation introducing the restaurant with the history of the restaurant based on the location you were visiting formatted onto a newspaper format on the outside of the paper while the menu selection is printed on the inside. The cute décor in the dining room area presented itself with beautiful murals of bears and bear structures hugging the posts throughout the restaurant. The restaurant was clean and inviting! They even had an old school Juke Box that made you feel at home, reminding you of the 40’s and 50’s. The music and restaurant caters to all ages with foods, music and décor that makes you feel at home. Everything in the restaurant had something decorated with bear images or a bear paw imprinted on your napkin, or a bear silhouette handle condiment dispenser placed on each table. Plus, they also have a very cute in-house gift shop to satisfy the bear enthusiast!
The food was beyond delicious and believe me, you were left with a satisfied tummy. We were maxed out to the brim. The food came out hot and their dishes were delightful. The service we received was friendly and comfortable, the staff were very helpful to each other and our server also made great recommendations to our meal. Here are our pictures of our dining experience. Hope you can make it out to one of the 63 locations. Tell me what your thoughts are on the Black Bear Diner or a diner you would like to introduce me to!
