When it comes to convenience with easy clean up and preparation, my Vitamix is my number one machine in my kitchen that helps me with my preparation of my dishes. In my Beef Adobo recipe, it asked for chopped carrots and onions. Often times recipes would ask for a food processor to chop the ingredients. Well, the Vitamix acts as many functions and does the job quick. Below is the result of throwing in one large peeled carrot. It yielded slightly over 8 oz of chopped carrots in seconds! I love using the carrots from The Organics Bunny Luv Grimmway Farms because their carrots are always juicy and great quality for my foods. The Vitamix’s versatility is great and definitely worth every penny.
Ingredients and Tools:
1 large peeled carrot (peeled or unpeeled is by your preference)
1 Vitamix machine
Briefly make a couple chops into your peeled carrot. Toss the pieces into the Vitamix and pulse the machine a couple times and there you will have chopped carrots! The more you pulse the finer the carrot pieces will be. Empty the Vitamix container by placing carrots in a container.
