Decorate A Mug in Minutes!

Decorate A Mug in Minutes!

Need a quick DIY gift to make for someone or a housewarming present that is one-of-a-kind? Here is a quick solution in decorating any style and size mug of your choice with oil based paint markers. I purchased and used Sharpie oil based paint markers to yield the results of my cups. I free-handed the design and they look great! The design of your cups are endless and it beats going to a paint and ceramic store where you will buy the item plus the paints to decorate your piece(s) on site and then have to go back days later to the store to pick up your item once they placed it in the kiln.

Here you will be able to achieve the cups in less than an hour. Turn on the oven when you’re fully ready to place the completed projects and designs. Place a sheet of foil onto the pan, place the pan with the items onto the pan as soon as you turn on the oven. Let the masterpieces heat up with the oven as it reaches the desired temperature of 350 degrees. Once the oven notified you that the oven has reached the temperature setting, begin your timer at 30 minutes and allow an additional 10 minute cool down in the oven without opening the oven door. After the 40 minutes in the oven have passed, remove the baking sheet and let your piece(s) cool on the baking pan. Once the items have completely cooled down, hand wash with a soft sponge and soap. Voila! You’re masterpiece is done and ready to wrap as a gift!!
