DIY Fall Photo Frame Decor

DIY Fall Photo Frame Decor

Fall season is almost here!! I love the fall color leaves changing and falling to the ground. The colors are beautiful and the endless possibilities of what we can do with the leaves create a perfect celebration for the fall season.

With the fall season around the corner, I wanted to create a new décor in my home while adding the additional items I collect over time to fill the home with fun. A while back I spotted this fun packet of paper cutouts and I really loved the images that were in the packet. I did not know what I wanted to do with the cutouts and I just could not resist leaving the store without them. Now that the season is soon to arrive, I came up with a cute idea using them.

To create this project, I had three frames available in my home along with some scrap booking paper to complete the Fall Photo Frame Decor. If you cannot spare a frame or two in your home for the season, thrift stores and big chain stores have a wide selection of photo frames you can choose from to complete this task.

Once you have decided on the paper cutout images that you can find in the store, accessorize the image with a piece of scrap booking paper or wrapping paper to fill the background of your frame to make your image pop. Tape and size down the paper and adhere the image to the background paper and voila! You are done!! You have a photo frame that looks like you paid the big bucks for and you are not limited to just photo frames for one season.

This is a quick and easy project and it brings life to a room. What are your favorite things about the fall season and how do you decorate your home?

These are the three combinations of design that I came up for this DIY project.

I cut off the unusable portion of the craft paper and made sure that it was to the dimensions of the picture frames.

I placed the image cut out and the background card stock into the picture frame and replace the backing. For our project I actually ended up taking out the glass so it wouldn't be reflective. To hold the image in place, I simply placed tape on the back side of the image.
