How To Make Mason Jar Cups – Super Fun!

Mason jars have always been so fun to use for canning and jamming. Well, I decided to “jam” up my Mason jar by making it into a reusable on-the-go cup!

I saw a youtube video of the girls making one and their video was an inspiration. Although they showed both methods of making a hole in the lid, I highly recommend the process of using the punch method. The punch method is cleaner, safer, and very easy to do. Anyone can find this punch from your local hardware store or at Harbor Freight where we purchased ours.

I also stopped off at JoAnn Fabrics & Craft Store to grab a sheet of Duck Tape. Using a roll of Duck Tape with the design choice of your liking is perfectly fine too, however, using the sheet of Duck Tape allows for one clean design as opposed to strips of tape aligned together to cover the surface area of your lid. All creativity is fun and I hope you will enjoy making one of your very own! They will also be great gifts and décor at your next party! It should only take one good hit to punch the hole. Make sure to use a backing board and not concrete or you will damage the punch
